2006 Attak, 136" 1.25 stock track clipped every third.
Have any of you USED a track clip tool you can recommend for this track. Again, please NOT a tool you THINK will work-- but one you have actually used on this same track. Hopefully one I can use with an air ratchet.
Thanks!

I have the one that works like a vise. It works great, and you can use an air wrench if you want, although they advise against it. I have replaced almost all of them as they wear out. 16,000 miles. Check Spankys. They have both styles for a good price.

Very Well Made, used my impact and replaced all the clips (36) on my 1.25 track in no time.

I used the OEM clips (ordered from Port Yamaha) @ $1.68 each. I think they hold up the best (got over 10,000 miles on the originals).

Spanky's has the vice style. it works good, but is slow. They say not to use an air wrench, but i don't think it will hurt anything.

I found some synthetic grease on the threads helps ALOT when using an impact on the threaded rod style clamps.

I bought the same tool form Tracks USA. Bought the clips from them also. The tool is extremely fast. I did it with the track still on the sled but with the suspension removed. Had to have someone twist and hold the track upright whilst I installed the clips.
I did find though that the clips I bought from Tracks USA were some .010" thinner than the original clips. Doesnt sound like much but thats 12.5% less material...
