track for turboed phazer

still have stock track and wanting to up grade,but wondering how long is to long?any one seen or heard of a track that really performs in the mountains..also considering a aftermarket suspension??

I put a 151 X 2.313 Challenger and 9 tooth drivers on mine and hills that I woul get stuck on with the 144 Maverick I was jumping off with even more snow. Fits well in stock tunnel also.

Did you cut it down to 14 wide, or was it 14 wide when you bought it?

It was cut down when I bought it. I think that if you tried it would be possible to fit a 15 wide in there. The track I have measures 14 1/4 and the track on my brothers M7 measures 15 even. It only needs to have 3/8 clearance on each side to fit the 15 which I think that it has. The trouble comes in the chain case area which I think can be solved with 9 tooth drivers and am thinking about going to 10 tooth drivers when I go 162 if I can find some gearing to compensate.

the 15 inch track will dont fit it hits by the chain chase just find a 15 wide one and rip it on the table saw works great and super easy javascript:emoticon('')
