I have an 08 Vector with, 15,000 Km's, I am wondering at what point will my track fail, I have no studs and do a visual inspection almost every time I ride. I ride fairly aggressive and do tend to like to lay a roost every now and again. :sled1:

As long as there aren't any huge rips and/ or fiberglass rods coming thru, I'm gonna say you should get another 2-3,000 MILES out of it.

At 12,000 ish miles, you have done good though. Maybe just put a new one on for piece of mind. Unless you intend on selling it soon.

What condition are the lugs in? I'm surprised they are still usable after that, I've worn out tracks in far fewer miles. But as long as there are no rips in it, you should be able to ride it until the lugs are gone!

15,000 miles on my 2005 venture ripsaw. 1/4 of the studs are ripped out but hope to get through the season with it. Very tough track!

I am at almost 18000 on the Ice Ripper XT. Had it installed when I bought my 2012 Vector new.

Still looks in great shape!

11000 miles on my Ripsaw. 6500 miles on the studs. No missing studs, lugs or tears.
But is is starting to lose the track clips. Counted 10 missing last weekend.

i have 28000 km on my stock ripsaw, not one lug is damaged,it basically looks like new beleive it or not,a bit of cord showing on the sides but beside that, theyres nothing wrong with it,i do have a vibration at around 95 kmhour and goes away at higher speeds, wondering if its my track causing this cuz of the high miles

Wish I could get that long out of a track. Only used to get 5000km on my rx between track replacement without ever using studs.

I'd be happy with 5000km! I bought my warrior last spring with 1300km on it, and I"m probably going to replace the track on it this fall. (not worn out, but the previous owner managed to cause a tear from the outside edge all the way to the window... Not safe to run like that too long.)

lol mine usually started loosing lugs. got one repaired and it was toast by the end of the next season. part of why i aviod single ply tracks as my brother stripped one almost bare in one season. it has been 2 season on his 151"x1-1/4" ripsaw and he can be an animal on the throttle at times.

16000 plus on mine
studded it at around a thousand, lost maybe 10 so far
still looks new
I almost never spin the track
I used to groom the trails, so
I just want to throttle dudes that spin their way out of a corner or to start off
I can accelerate faster without spinning
I hope to get another 5000 out of this track

I'm gonna have to replace my Ice Atack track after 10000km...a number of lugs have ripped off and some fibreglass rods exposed. I think abusing the track with a lot of high speed runs and road running is what killed my track...a bit early for my liking. I did order the same track again though, not many options for the 128" folks.

Pushing 19,000 miles on my original track. Lost no lugs, still looks really good. I'll run it again next year. - April 2, 2015 --Now at 21,613, still looks good!

Wife's Vector has 15,000 miles on original track, picked with 96 Top Gun II's. I am missing 4 from this years riding and am considering putting on new track. Studs and track still look great. Just missing the four. Question is take a chance with another season or bit the bullet before it becomes a bigger issue. Not made of money but don't want to be stupid about it.

If I go with a new track, does anyone have an opinion on ripsaw I or the II? Thinking I'd stay with theirs because their performance has been good to me over the years.

Thanks
