Has anyone that has changed to AC skid heard any change in the track noise? I met a guy at the warm up shack yesterday that also changed the skid but didn't seem to notice any difference in the noise.
I went to a crossfire skid and fully clipped track and the noise is almost non-existent. Love it!

Interesting. is it the skid or the track that is causing the noise? I had a 2004 Panther and the noise was way less compared to the Yami.
My pick on this one is: .....the track.
Having said that, the internal volume where the track reside is like a sound box which make it worst.
Co-rider of mine have installed this very same track on his 660 touring then he went from heaven to hell.
I now use a one ply Ice-Attack which is much much much better. Only trouble with this one ply is that there are now slider wear at front, which i never had before.
+2 cents....

I didn't notice any difference when I changed my Vector track to an AC quiet track. I only ended up with about 200 for all of last season so I didn't get a lot of seat time. It was such a good deal ($340 US for the AC Quiet or $360 for the exact replacement at Tracks USA) that I don't care if it's quieter or not. When I asked the sales person about it being quieter, they said it probably would make little difference. To be honest, with my helmet on and without a side by side test I doubt I could tell. My (56 year old) ears are kinda shot anyway.
