I'm going to replace the stock track on my '03 RX and I was wondering what popular opinion and/or experience may have to say. I'm planning on a 1.25" track and am looking at either the 9833 or the new ripsaw.. Pricing is close enough to make it a non factor. I'm still planning on studding the new track, although the quantity is still open for suggestions. Any info about this would be appreciated. I ride mostly flatland trails, roads and lakes and want to start being able to use all that acceleration I'm losing with the traction.

A lot of the guys on here have used the Ripsaw with good results. I felt i had the same issues last year, but just dealt with the POS stock track that came on it. I'm going to a 1.25 paddle 136. I'm hoping that putting more on the ground with a more aggressive lug does the same.

Contact Lazy Bastard on his thoughts, I know he really liked the ripsaw.

How has anyone used the Ripsaw with good results yet? As far as I know no one but a few people last winter rode a sled with the Ripsaw on it. Not trying to take away from the ripsaw, but look at all your options and don't just think the ripsaw will be the best.

I went with the 9818 because I did not want to add extroverts.
I can say that it made a huge difference. :D
I know that BBY and a few others went with it as well and had similar results.

I believe several guys went with the 9833 and added extroverts and loved that combination.

RocklandRX1 I am one of those guys and I love this combo. I went with the 9833 and the extroverts and I can honestly say that I will never go less than 1.25" again. The 9833 is AWESOME. Can't comment on the Ripsaw...sorry.
