Track is shot! Although i will probably stick to RIPSAW because sled is dialed in; i'm open to opinions. Any reports on ICE RIPPER or PREDATOR. I'm an agressive trail rider.

go with a 1" six pitch predator if you ride 70% trail or better.....you will be much more happy

ice ripper
I have the ice ripper with quiet ride on Apex Rtx and am very happy with it. Not big on external studs, so like the safety of the Ripper. All that ride it comment on how smooth and quiet it is.

If you are going to look at a ripsaw, then I would look at the cobra, since they weight the same and the cobra is said to have the same or a slight edge on top, plus better out of the hole performance. Also, I believe they are fully clipped.

I have the Cobra track and love it! Much faster out of the hole than the ripsaw. I would say same for on top. Faster in all loose snow and powder.
there is a post in here with pictures if you search Cobra track.

IMO fully clipped predator......I now have over 5000 miles on mine, and it looks perfect still, and has yet to be beat for top speed....
I run it as loose as I want, never a ratchet once...no clip issues, sliders last longer too IMO.
the rip may holeshot slightly better(slightly!) but you will kill them anything over 30mph on up....pulling away hard.
Only other track Id consider is the 14 inch hack...but i KNOW it wont last like this predator does.
said it before, say it again....you couldnt give me a ripjunk.....lol

copy that
I am looking to by a new track also. I think I want a 1" but can't dicide on track. I want one fully clipped and pre drilled for 144 down the middle.
(Preditor or Hacksaw) what size studs and what kind. I mostly trail ride on groomed trail and I play on the lake in front of my house.

ROCKERDAN; 1" or 1.25" Predator. I have friends with RX1's that swear by this track. I'm leaning towards Predator. The Ice Ripper is tempting, but i'm not sure how long those tips will last. Cobra sounds like deeper Ripsaw. Don't get me wrong, I liked the Ripsaw. I wrecked it around town with not much snow. I know it was wrong, but my obsession with these things makes me make very questionable decisions i:e "stevewithOCD"...

Why you prefer the Predator to the Hacksaw???
The Hacksaw is lighter than Predator.....in the 1po. X 136po. for my Attak, the Hacksaw weight is 38 lbs Vs 42 lbs for the Predator.
4 lbs of difference.....that big according to me......what do you thing??
I look to for the Cobra.....but with 1.450 po. Woddy studs, maybe not the best for this track and for the radiator ans exaust??
