I have a shorty apex and my track is rubbing the top of my shock eyelet in the rear suspension. I tried using a bearing with a longer bolt through the eyelet to push the track up just a fraction so it would not hit the top of the shock. the problem is that the metal heads of my studs were banging against the bearings and smashed the bearings to #*$&@. they dont stand up to the metal to metal banging. i know Ulmer has something similar...has anyone used it and does it hold up to a season of abuse. i beleive Rocker Dan a a fix, using a pipe, but i was looking for the easy rolling restiance of a wheel... does anyone have a cure or an idea?

I also have 121" Apex, and I installed the "Shock Eye Saver Kit " from Pioneer. Then I studded the track, 144 up the middle, Woody's pattern, 2 singles, 2 doubles. 2791 miles later, everything looks just fine, no wear on the shock, the track looks good, the bearings look good , and the backs of the studs inside the track look fine also.
I looked at Allen's site and they look the same, and the same price.
Mine are working just fine, and the bearings spin freely, I just checked. Get the kit, it works. ;)!

Also, you might want to check your studs. They may need to be torqued to the proper spec so that they do not stick out beyond the track.
