I have not heard of any other damage. As far as telling the dealer, I was just going to church last sunday & I starting hearing this flapping noise,................. :lol:

I like the church idea. Dealer couldn't say no to that. If the track was ruined by no fault of your own the dealer/Yamaha should cover. If you hit something or were running it on bad surfaces then that's another story. I guess the moral of the story is to go with the church idea. :lol:

Mine ripped this winter,im still fighting with yamaha to give me a new track,all they want to give is 350.00.

My dealer never gave me much of a reason,He just said mtn tracks cannot be replaced under warranty :shock: :shock: :shock: I know, I thought it sounded dumb too,but hey what can i do? :x

Call Yamaha customer service, & find another dealer. :!:

Im going to try to call yamaha coustomer sevice in the morning to see if i can get more out of them,my tunnel extension also got dented up bad,my track didnt rip,most of the lugs came off,The dealer said it looks like the track was a defect,hopefully they will give me more since our business has bought alot of yamaha products through the years.

I ripped a track a few years ago on my XLT, and sent it to Carrol Tech to have it re-vulcanized or whatever? Bottom line is I got a new track section grafted in for $70.00 It held up for 2 seasons and as far as I know it's still holding up :lol: . Just something to think about if you can't get a free one :wink: Sorry, I don't know if they're still in business but I think there are still people out there - try MCB Performance, they may know.
