Trail Tank Leaking

installed my replacement Trail tank yesterday. This one slid right in and everything bolted right up real ,real, real, easy. Much easier than the one that leaked. Very happy with Trail Tank standing behind there product. Thanks again to Seth at trail tank.

I was instructed to try permatex ultra black. The package says not for use with contact with gas. Not sure this is going to be a long term fix. My plastic is distorted under the gasket as well, all the plastic around the threaded holes in the tank seems raised up.

Right now it's holding but I m worried the permatex is going to deteriorate. Anybody use this stuff before?
