Trailering the RX1...do I need to valve the fuel lines?

Being one that actually had a problem, all I can say is spend the $20.00 and be done with it. It will be the cheapest insurance you you spend, and trust me when I tell you, you don't want anything bad to happen at the time you are supposed to get on your machine and ride. It only takes once and your year/machine will be over and start to get really exspensive. Cheap insurance and only takes a few minutes to install. Or you can continue with the "it won't happen to me " or " I trailer my machine 1000 miles a weekend and haven't had a problem". Truth betold, I said all those things before it happened to me. Ask yourself this question, if there not that important then why do all the other maufactures install them on there machines? Well good luck, hope this helped.

Fun,
I agree, and have the shut-offs ordered. I have asked this before, and haven't heard an answer. Yamaha has an automatic shut off in the fuel pump. Does anyone know about them?
