Can anyone confirm if the steel elbow on the back side of the chain case is indeed a vent?
It is leaking some (small amount) of oil in the engine compartment making a bit of a mess.
I was thinking of adding a tube and run it up higher.
Does anyone have a tube on that elbow or a vented cap of some sort? Not sure if this is by design or something was left out.

Thats the vent. It has a checkball in it. Hook up a hose and suck in and out making sure checkball is free the check your oil level. Might be over filled. Dont put a hose on it permanently. Not meant to have one.
