I cannot beleive that they are working to full strength, most days I ride with them on High and others in a group have them off! I can't stand it maybe its my gloves or something? I have Yamaha leather gloves.

What things do I test for just to make sure its not my warmers?

Ohm for each warmer = ?

Ohm for entire circuit = ?

V at idle = ?

V at clutch engagement = ?

Thanks guys!

There is no listed voltage standard for the grips, you are only testing for continuity. If it has it, they are good, if not then they are bad.

Attached is a couple of pages out of the manual showing the procedure.

Simple enough thanks!

What about a bad CDI any way to test? I noticed that mine are intermittent sometimes I can feel them and sometimes I cant and this is usually on the same ride within 3 miles of one extreme to the other.

I tested wamers in the past by putting 12v from a battery directly to the circuit. That way you can see if they work without having the machine running...

YOu could start with the grips themselves without the control in the mix to see if they are ok first..

good luck
