2018 sidewinder and Ive had the stock ROV remounted with the heating element. When inspecting my charge tubes for leaks since I cant get over 14.4lbs of boost Im finding that the vent tube which hooks into the new hurricane CAI tube is now sliming white oil vapour out and having the intake suck that right into the turbo. I also noticed my panel near the exhaust got very dirty on a 20 mile ride which indicates im obviously burning that vapor up.

I tried to make that stock ROV system work and its just a shitty design all around. I will be plugging the vent tube on the CAI and taking the vent line for the ROV and just like everyone else, extending the hose and running it down to the floorboards. Could be the reason for lower boost, maybe not but that ROV design I've had it.

Yup I did that after my first ride on my sidewinder.

With the current design, its far easier just to run a separate tube and be done with it - and eliminate it. When you roll it over on its side, be quick to get it righted.
