Day one and they performed great. The other guys I rode with complained about darting and I had zero. They corner great too. Right now I'm not running studs but will add at least 2 per row. I'm running 4 inch woodys carbides on the inside and 2 inch on the outside. Once studded I may run 6 inch on the inside and move the 4 inches to the outside. Flotation was pretty good too.
Before you spend several hundred bucks on other skis, give these a try. You should be able to get them from a dealer for about $125 a pair.

I have the Tunners on a 05 RX1. I road 140 miles yesterday from Grayling to Jordan Vally and back. There was several inches of loose dry snow on the trails and the Tunners performed perfect. It has made my sled a totally different sled out of the RX1. I no longer cringe when trying to tell oncoming traffic how many sleds are behind me when I take one hand off to show them. Most of the trails in that area are super narrow too. Yamaha did a great job with these skis. I am running the same runners listed above.

I'm struggling with mine. Had to add shims. Got em set 1/8" out, 4" inside, 2" outside, added 3rd 1/4" rubber shim yesterday and it was better but still way to much darting. Everything from groomed trail to loose snow on trail. Even get some darting on hard pack roads. About to pull the trigger on a pair of snotrackers. Gonna try a few things today, recheck alignment, toe out 1/4" a side (which seems too much to me) and see what happens. Mighty, can you give me a measurement from the front and back studs on your outside set of carbides? Just eyeball your handle bars straight.
Thanks

Tuners
Sorry to hear your having trouble with the tuner's. Just went through the same problems you are describing on my friends new Apex. He bought the tuners based on the positive feed back from this site. But we where never able to see the same benefits others are experiencing with them. We tried every suspension setting and variation of toe out and straight alignment there is. Still bad darting, snow tracker went on and the sled handles like it's on rails and ZERO darting. We can not explain why we could not get the tuners to work. But i have a set with less then 100 miles om them for sale in the Kitchener area.

Had a bit of darting so I tighten limiter strap 1 hole and it was terrible not sure if this would cause more darting ?? Got 6 in 4 out on 2011 apex with 3 -2-3-2 stud pattern. Love to hear what set ups are working for those with no problems .

I have 6 inch woodys on the inside and 4 inch on the outside---no problems with darting. It will sometime follow a deep rut in the trail but no darting.

Hey stain what is the rest of your set up (studs limiter etc...) I checked my runners and the left sides were bent I've straighten them I'm hoping that was the problem. Just not sure if I should go back to normal setting on limiter strap??
