I've handed the Nytro down to my wife and the 10" carbides are a little much for her. I'm thinking about going with tuners. What's the story on wear bar selection and positioning? I see that Yamaha offers square bars, round bars and bars with 2" of carbide. I'm going for a setup that steers easily, doesn't dart and doesn't get a lot of push at moderate cornering speeds.

I put the tunners on and I am not really happy with them. No matter how I tried to adjust them I couldnt get the darting under control. They turn well on hard pack but in loose snow they push alittle. I just ordered snowtrackers for the stock skis and I am going to put them on for this weekend.

I have two 6" shaper bars on each ski and it handles really good in all conditions. I've tried semi snowtrackers and deuce bars on stock ski and didn't like it.

Hope you got the extreme snowtracker cause the semi's push like crazy

The factory wear at choices leave a lot to be desired. Any the stud boy options work well. I have 6"-4" stud boy round bars on mine. Yes in softer snow conditions they could be better but no serious darting really. I'm a 6'5" 300lb construction worker so my input on how hard it steers wouldn't be very valid lol. I think 4-2 stud boys would work fine tho

Yes I got the extremes That what they suggested. They said the same thing about pushing with the semis
