How about a good tunnel polish to spiff up that tunnel and give her a little shine-- anybody got any suggestions for that?? Surely some of you have done this.... Need a good one-- can you help me out here???

mother bilet with mothers power ball mini youll see youself a mile away the ball does such a good job and cuts the time in more than 1/2

Most of us that are polishing tunnels are actually wet sanding all the surfaces first. Start with an 800 grit paper adn work your way progressively finer to finish with an 2500 grit paper. Then using a polish wheel and red, grey and white rouge, work your way to a mirror finish.
sobfrogg is the resident master polisher in my opinion, and his sleds look awesome! You could contact him for some resources.
It's a time consuming process, but the better you do on your first try, the easier it will be to maintain it down the road.

Yes you must sand it first to make it look like chrome and too make it last then buff it with rouge or something like it then the final step is Mother's aluminum polish or something like it.

That's how I do it...

A suggestion however if you do go this route:

Remove your seat or tape off the lower edge and all plastics (like taillight edge). The ball moves fast and if it chases up the tunnel and rubs the edge of the seat or plastics it will scratch them and they will lose their luster.

Remember, polish had abrasives which are meant for metal, not plastic or cloth.

The best stuff I know of is called SIMICHROME POLISH by Happich. It is made in Germany and is imported by Competition Chemicals of Iowa Falls, IA. You can buy it from cycle shops. I got mine at Bob's Cycle in St. Paul, MN. A machinist at my work told me about it. It works fantastic. He has his tunnel, clutch guard, foot wells..etc.. on his SRX looking like chrome.

yep....yellow tube with kind of pinkish/orange writing.
