Tunnel protector removal???

Looks like I may leave them in. Since I have a rack on the rear the tail light wires run through the RH protector and come out the back to the small LED light. I am in the process of milling a billet holder to mount the stock light in since it's alot bigger, and I need to keep the wires routed this way. I could leave just that part of the one protector, I guess. Thanks for the reply's!

I used brake line to route my taillight wire to the back, worked really well and keeps them out of the way and off the top of the tunnel.
