Wondering how difficult it is to to remove the tunnel? Really would like to get it powder coated. How many hours work? What's involved ? Any links to a helpful thread?

I've never removed the tunnel but had it stripped down to almost that. I would say removing the exhaust components then the heat exchangers then drills nh out all the rivets and brackets.

Okay thanks, I was hopping someone on here would be able to give me a answer because I'm pretty sure someone on this site, has removed a tunnel before

I have to remove my tunnel also probably the hardest would be taking chaincase apart.

Way to much time to be worth powder coating it...IMO

Yep, and if you are going to take it down that far, you may as well part-it-out while you're at it too. Better to buy an assembled frame, bust that down to PC it, then take the parts off your sled and put them back on the new frame - you're pretty much doing the same thing backwards...

Then CRINGE when the powder coat starts to wear-off.
