Turbo apex, Is it loud?

the MCX kits come with a muffler check out the website, also I think Ulmers stage 1 can use the stock muffler too. I think you will find a lot of the turbo kits that come complete have a muffler.

The owner of Mountain Valley Performance called today to let me know that a muffler is totally do-able on the sled. A little fabrication work and it should be good to go.

I have a boondocker with tunnel dump and yes it is load I am sure though a person could put a very short muffler on. As for lag I ride with a stage 2 MPI s/c and they are very close on bottom. And on top I pull away, both are running about 12psi.

I have the Powderlites tunnel dump on my apex and dont see it as being loud. Im not sure what kind of noise restrictions you have. And i love the powderlites kit, great power and awesome throttle response. I have alot of added timing at low throttle and honestly i think my throttle response is the same as a stocker if not better.

Any left of center or mid mount turbo that dumps into the tunnel is alot quieter than the bd that comes out the side panel. The track/tunnel/snow keep the noise level down pretty good. The bd just barks out the panel, sounds good to some. But after awhile it gets to me, I ride with couple of them.
