I have a nytro with the Ulmer turbo kit on it. Im running 6lbs boost at low elevation and was wondering if mixing 50/50 100LL avgas and premium would be worth doing? Is avgas good to use in my sled? When I take it outwest I plan on running around 10lbs boost. Thanks

I think ulmer said that 10lbs was ok on a stock motor from 8000-10000 ft. I ran my vector motor at 8lbs here in mn on pump gas. No problems. Best to contact ulmer and find out what he says. Mixing av/pump is hardly worth it imo though. you probally get like 95 octane at best with 50/50. You would be better off with 100% av or 50/50 114/91. I think the main thing is if the fuel system on the sled can handle the added boost.
