turbo smart boost controller

hi guys,i took my turbo smart boost controller apart to clean it and now i cant remember if the spring goes in first or if the ball goes in first .can someone please let me know .trying to get my sled running right having some issues .please and thanks.

Turk do you know if these controllers are suposed to have a detent?? This one that I have on the sled does NOT have a detent even with the allen tightened.
