We were able to head out for a basic trail ride this past weekend. Not a ton of snow, but enough to get out.
I didn't do anything to the sleds last year, went out to the trailer, turned the keys and they both fired right up.

Reliability is paramount with me. Im very impressed with Yamahas in this regard. Ready for a great season!

great pic. just put the lawnmower away last weekend here in southwest ontario and i'm leaving for San Juan for a caribbean cruise this coming weekend. Hopefully when we get back the weather will start turning to more seasonal temps.

Crap I would give anything for that much snow!!! Raining here hard for 3 days in Minneapolis should have been about 2' of snow. Its the beginning of December for goodness sakes.

I'm right there with ya. Really sucks. This pic makes me very jealous. The pics coming out of whistler BC are making me VERY jealous.

Awesome!!! A couple that sleds together stays together!!!

Just starting mine once or twice a day....it is going to be a happy engine..

got back from our cruise on saturday nite to this beautiful white gold. got 11" on sunday here in the banana belt of southwest Ontario with more coming this week and next week. haven't seen this amount of snow in December for years. Nice start to the winter, just hope the temps stay cold and the snow keeps coming.

Been doing that since 2005!

Not sure if that is a good idea! Can lead to fouled plugs, dirty oil and condensation because it never truly warms up like a good run with warm it up!

I've heard guys do this to a new sled to let their buddies hear the motor run....... Fouls plugs (more so on a new motor)........Doing that every month or so keeps the fuel in the pump so it's better for it then....Either way--------------------------pause--------------------- Bring on the "S-N-O-W-" MM.

Yeah I built my SC apex about 5 years ago right before I had kids and when I had time. I said after the build its just maintenance and riding now. Aside from some minor maintenance I have spent like a grand total of 5 hours working on the sled the last 5 years! Just turn the key and go like you say. That is with a SC 240hp apex! This is on of my favorite parts of my sled.
