How do you do it in this forum? Looking at peoples last 15 sleds, or pictures is tiring or annoying. Is there a way to turn it off? Pretty pretty please?

Thanks

no one cares? Or do you all like to read everyone's signature? :o|

Each person on TY can set up their own "PROFILE" only they can set what they want to show or not show. You will have NO CONTROL outside your own profile, Sorry...So suck it up Buttercup...or just don't look at them :flag:

Lol if I had all my old sleds on there it would be a couple pages long.I do think some people get out of hand posting all there previous sleds.

I really like the Moderators here, we share the same outlook.......LOL
Ian, if you get to Munising this year, I'll buy you a beer ;)! :-o :rocks:

I think that the pics in the Signatures are a real pain and think that each user should take it upon themselves to reduce it to a minimum and not have to be told.

"Reduce it to a minimum" Key word here MINIMUM, I hate reading a one liner and the post takes up a whole page!!!
Just one guys opinion.

Isn't there a way for the moderators/admin to enforce a pic size in the sig? A small logo, especially for advertisers, is fine but a full size family picture of everybody on their sleds and their dog, gets tiresome to look at over and over.

If you want to show some pics, add a link to them instead of embedding them in the sig.

OK, found a way to block pictures in signatures (accidently). I use OpenDNS.com to block certain websites (mostly porn and other adult sites from my kids). I recently added photo sharing sites to the blocked list because my kids have been using too much bandwidth lately. Anyway, I come here and notice the broken links in the signatures of those that had pictures. Sweet! The only problem is that it will also block pictures that were added to posts but not directly uploaded to TY (the links to photo sharing sites that were embedded in the post itself).

So just block photobucket.com (and others) in your router or firewall.

Another better option for those that use FireFox is to install the AdBlock add-on and then right click on the image and block it. It will block all instances of the same image wherever it appears.
