Just found out that a riding buddy of mine had a bad one lastnite all I know is that he has 3 broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder.

ty march ride

A few of us are crying at work cause we can't go ... wave to my house as you pass by!

Wave? I'm stopping by and drinking Rick's beer out of the fridge! lol..... we'll miss you Gina!

sobFrogg just called me, he said things are a little crunchy on the trails, they were able to get out and groom last night before the cold set in, things are not great but rideable. he said the parking lot is a sheet of ice, which is better than a sheet of asphault! lol..... they were heading back out to check out the off trail situation and will call me later this evening.
Dave and Jaron, I have the chili cookin' and the beer chillin'! lol... see you guys tonight!

We have ridden about 100 miles in Waters so far today (heading out again soon).
It is a bit crunchy, with snow on top of that.
I am sooo happy to be riding!!!

Ya hes going to be fine he called me today and told me what happened. He dose have 3 CRACKED ribs not broken and did NOT dislocate his shoulder.

He took a jump (10-15 feet in the air) and landed flat against the bank on the other side a.k.a. short of the landing. When he did this it slammed him against the bar pad on his right side ribcage. The impact was so hard it blew the pad off the bars and knocked the throttle cable out of the thumb control. Now he wants to go riding this weekend because it didn't hurt the sled.

Our snow here in Marquette the other morning got frozen by an afternoon drizzle....GRRR!

I'm a bit worried about slide lubrication and cooling.

Of course, if it warms up like they say, then there will be plenty of slush for cooling.

'frogg & group & I rode last 2 days.......mostly trees and woods........not a melted slider in the bunch........at least so far.........
