My snow cover maps would suggest going elsewhere... Marquette area/ mid UP has not seen the LES like the East and Western UP... also trail # 8 is closed until late January for a bridge replacement... read the link posted a page or two back

called the Jasper Inn in ishpeming today and they said trails are in bad shape with rocks everywhere. they said its plenty cold but no snow to groom. looks like ill have to go somewhere. else on jan 10th. what a bummer. Besides the Keweenaw area, has anybody ridden a good area in the u.p. in the last week or so?
