I see Ulmer is having a sale on the muffler right now. Anyone using it and happy with it?

I finally broke down and bought his quiet trail can...doesn't sound any louder at idle, but it sure wraps out noticeably faster when you hit the throttle...I also have the excell air box mod installed.
The muffler has SLP stamped on it, so my guess is Ulmer is a distrubitor of theirs.

So happy with it? Any noticeable power increase mid range?

Want the header as well but a bit too much $$$ at the moment... and once you add the header a PC V is needed as well (or ECU tune). It all adds up :-(
Thought starting with the muffler would be good start, especially when it's on sale :-)

Wow wicked deal on the muffler now, I want the header real bad but I can't justify the price per hp.

thank you sir i just ordered one lol

I have one on it is mot too loud just wright

This is a VERY nice unit. Seals off the hole in the tunnel and has a shrouding pipe so that the main pipe does not get plugged or kinked off. Nice ceramic polished silver. About all I would change is add a spring holding the front inward.

All Viper mufflers (including stock) have a bit too much drone for me, but of the aftermarket units this one is the best.
