Well, I did what all of my relatives and even my Yamaha dealer told me not to do. I made my friend do a head porting to my nytro, he expect a gain of +6% H.p on overall engine.
we are now finidhing the exeaust, we combined the stock Yamaha headers and enlarged it by cutting it and welding the hindle pipes at the strategic points ( mys hindle headers was damage, and we all know it is a shure valu for performance, so its good stuff ). We also done a stealth muffler modification that resemble at what scmidth bros does, (mine is a little more direct, I hope it will be enough quiet ), I think the scmidth bross one is probably more quiet than mine. The gain should be as good as the hindle was. I will post pictures of the exeaust later.
I am looking at the nytro charger that I have, I will put a vaccum/boost gage to measure how that thing behave, I am very septical about it, I found several flaws both in the product itself, but mostly by the incorrect installation of that device (at the manufacturer of the device), some incredible error (I will post that story at the end of my test just to be neutral and far with them even if I am very disappointed and fell that I have been screwed with the installation)
I will put on a power commander v and an auto tuned, brought at ulmer with his maping
I will put scmidth bross clutch kit stage 2 and their sway bar for the nytro ( it was very hard to chose between ulmer and scmidth clutch kit they both are top end kit and people to deal with)

We made our home made exeaust, since cop wont let us use aftermarket pipes even if they are more quiet than the oem muffler....Well I took the oem headers cut it at the junction so that it will fit with they hindle tube, it already have a nice o2 sensor plug; did ''H pipe" between the pipes of the headers. I also made a home design muffler (secret we never know if cops are reading our post hahaha). ad to this the power commander 5 with a ulmer racing map and an auto tune.
The sound is as quiet as oem, but with a diferent signature, throttle is absolutely awesome; I still did not try it for real as I am still sick but it realy has that extra that the hindle was giving, I think that my exeaust is realy close to the hindle efiency ( note that close means inferior of about maybe 2-3 hp ) but combine with the head porting, result on the street in front of the garage seams very promising.
I will try this at the end of the week, so I will realy see, also I will see what the nytro charger can realy gives.
