Upgrade from an 06 Vector???

I am thinking about an upgrade to a Viper and will be giving my Vector to the wife. Any pros and cons I should be aware of?

The Vector has been trouble free and a solid performer, I am a little concerned about many post I have read concerning top speed of the Vipers even thou they have substantially more HP and lighter than my Vector. Although not all the time I do live a triple didget rip on the dreamometer.

How are the turbo Vipers as gas as far as dependability? Will they run as trouble free or close to NA four strokes?

The speedo being dead on gives a false sense of it being slow. 90 on the Viper would roughly be 100 on older Yamaha Dream Meters. Most any day I can hit 90 on the Viper, Saturday was 42*f and the trails were getting pretty soft and I managed to hit 96, same stretch last month at -5*f it pulled 103 and both those Speedo readings were only 1mph faster than what the GPS said.

Talk to your local dealer about an MPI turbo kit. When done right with gears and clutching the viper is a beast. I would also take a good hard look at the Sidewinder, mpg will be much better than a viper with turbo w/trail can. I do have a race can that I use on my sled, my mpg goes back up and so does the HP.
