I had similar issues with the oilites and decided to go the Nylatron route. I don't believe you can get nylatrons any more unless someone like barn of parts starts carrying them. I ordered and extra set prior to Pioneer performance shutting down. I would mic the outside of your collars and then mic the inside of your oilites and see how much difference there is. So if you decide to machine down the collars you will know how much, as you want a good snug fit that you can still get them in.

Do you still have the worn long collars? It would be interesting to measure them in the middle (where they do not wear) and compare them to the new ones you bought. Sounds like the new one are out of spec.

Used some digital calipers and measured the short and long collars. The long ones were slightly larger in diameter than the short ones. I ran a 45/64 drill bit through the bushings. That solved the problem.

One thing I remember reading was not to drill out oillites due to it can close off the pores that provide the lubrication. Hope that isn't a problem.

Installed a new prototype front end yesterday so I had a chance to measure the long collars. They miked out right at 17.99-18.00 mm.

I am having the same exact issue with the Oilite bushings with the MountainTech arms I just bought. I bought new collars since the old ones were so worn down and some go in very easy where they will fall out the other end and i got all the short ones in without forcing finally by sanding them down with light sandpaper. The longer ones are not going in still. You could try fitting one of the short collars through the upper a arm bushings and see if they are tight. Also measure the diameter of the short collars and compare against the long ones.
