I primarally trail ride in the north east, I like the vector's but I don't think they are fast enough for me. I think a turbo would be the answer. I want a vector that no one can beat when we hit the lakes or the open trails, is this possible to achieve with a vector? how fast will it go???? how much hp will it put out with a turbo on pump gas???? who would be the person to do this for me????? I want someone that can do the whole package for me, the turbo , clutches, exaust, etc..., I donj't want to have to mess with it, just ride it!! but again I am sick of getting beat I need this thing to be fast.

CPR turbo would be the ticket. I would be happy to help you out. The downside being I'm in Minnesota. If you wanted to make the trip we could schedule something. Otherwise, I would think that Jeff has a good installer in your area. I guarantee you would be fast and quiet with this system! No one will even know till you opened the hood or grab a handfull of throttle! Mike Knapp#17

I got to ride Jeff Simons own turbo vector last sat. Trail turbo- Quiet as stock and you could not tell there was a turbo on it without lifting the hood or squeezing the throttle! It was sneaky fast. It actually felt slower than my ecp, simons clutched 03 rx1! BUT- when I lined up with 2 f-7's, 1 02srx, and 1 05 fussion, I was in front of all of them by like 12-15 sled lengths!
Very fun sled! Bill

Vector turbo front mount
So far Vector is so close to RX1 at 8 lbs boost that if Vector on the lake running 10 lbs beats up RX1 at 8 so we will see shortly how same boost with both sleds tune in and let you know.
The carbs on Vector show on O2 Gauge that it runs perfect all the time.
Not like RX1 carbs that change from rich to lean and when chopping the throttle or changing altitude show uneven jetting.
Some of the guys with RX1's think that after riding it it will be nicer running sled all around.
I am doing up one for myself right now with lightweight tunnel and coolers, GT25R Garrett and will have 159 X 16 track and try moving rear suspension mounts back to keep it from coming over backwards.
If rear skid doesn't work it gets M10 cause they climb straight up anything.

blowoff valve
Yes cause blowoff valve is open at 5to 6 inches vaccum so everytime you let off throttle it keeps turbo spooled up and you will notice that you can chop the throttle and it just idles nice and smooth.
Make sure all intake nipples have T's above them and tied together so that blowoff valve, fuel reg. and boost gauge are steady and smooth with out pluses to fuel regulator.
On GT28R May want to jet down piolets to 15 and put mains up to 132.5
set fuel pressure at 3 lbs.
Are you sure boost gauge is right??
Amazing how responsive that setup is hey!!!
2800RPM ingagement and just play with rear mount turbos in drag race!!
Also give Ryan a call at Valley Yamaha cause he been playing GT28R kit and a couple of rear mounts so he sets them up same boost and clutching and sounds like he has them working good.
He likes to tune on them !604-795-4403
