I am smelling fumes from the crankcase vent on my xtx nytro. The stock breather went into the airbox. Since the intercooler was added the vent is just a hose with a filter , smells of old oil.
Is it best to put the vent hose into the intake tube between the filter and the sc , or build some type of an accumulator , hose in the bottom , expand the gas , then vent it down low in the chassis to expell the fumes!
How does your system vent ???

My MPI Apex is vented the same way. I never really noticed it was there until it started venting and I could smell it. I would like to know when/if the crankcase should be venting that much.

All 4 stokes vent , it is the smell that is bad.
I have fixed mine .
Just build a small accumulator 2'' od approx. 4'' long , hose in the bottom , hose out the top at a 90' and then hook engine vent hose from the oil tank to the bottom , mount vertically as high as possible , then take the hose out of the top to down low in the belly ! Fixed.

Just be carefull if u turn the sled over.
I suggest running the vent down the side of the oil tank so if u do turn it over it doesnt soak anything and less possibility of loosing oil.
