- Bravo, ovation, srv, Phazer viper Venture 600 tripper, RS Venture .
I have a 09 Venture RS. I sent all 4 of my shocks in to be serviced on a used venture I just picked up. was told the front skid shock must have leaked out and been run dry for a long time and it’s not rebuild able. Do I have any other options other than another used KYB? Anyone ever put any other shock on these?

exact model will help more as there was a carbed venture and a efi venture that year.
looks like you are lucky as the shock main part # are the same with the efi sled having a valving adj in its code it looks like from port yamaha online fiche. according to the fiche part #, the front track shock from a fx nitro, 11-15 apex xtx, 02-05 sx viper, 03-04 rx 1, 04-05 rx warrior and a fx nitro xtx should work for you. their could be some hygear, elka or oilns availible. i would personally stay with rebuildable shocks myself.
