Venture Shift (for-rev) fix for 07/08's

Spoke to Yam Canada and was told that a new Bulletin #S941 was out about a month ,that "Fixes" my 07 Venture -lite's inability to shift fully from for-rev or back again.Was told this is a one time offer valid till April 09 for 07 &08's!
The fix kit contains a V-belt and washer space plate !!
This sounds like the shim kit fix, that gave belt squawk upon instalation of a shim??
I think phazers are included in this fix as well?
The 09's have a redezigned shift-shaft,go figure!!!!!!!!
I've got 10hrs from new,not happy!!!!
Any advice?????????????

Don't worry, be happy! They have come up with a fix. If you are having the problem, you are lucky to have a fix. If you are not having the problem, why the unhappiness?

Will have to see if the new belt works I guess. However, if the new new belt is a proper fix, why didn't Yamaha just do that on the new sleds instead of installing a new shaft?

Probably because the belt size of our Phazer is close to other Yamahas and they would like to have as few sizes as possible.I know I like that almost all the belts fit or are close.Never know when you might need one to get home with.
