What do you mean by "Thumb screws" I assume something you can do by hand but just not picturing what we are talking about. Havent picked my sled up yet 235 miles away. Yamadoo

I put a dzus fastener in mine where that thumb screw was. Works great, kinda thought maybe they would have done that for 15 as well as change the seat fastener

Same thumb screws that are on the left side panel. You can turn it with your fingers. EVO has a kit to use them on the hood instead of getting out the torx bit. Easier to use but a little ugly looking on the hood IMO

The second time my side panel off I took the dumb thing out and don't regret that a bit!
