i know this is the rx 1 forum but i need some input on my 02 viper. last weekend i was up in the U.P. and my tachometer was going crazy bouncing all over the place and then later my speedometer was bouncing all over the place. what could be the problem? has any body else heard of this happening? i still have warranty till september so i will take it in to my dealer. just wanted to know what to expect just in case my dealer can not duplicate the concern. thanks

:twisted: :twisted You need to go on the other board. But anyway they do say look for short in wiring harness coming out of magneto or under motor.Never had the problem before ,make sure on the mag side where they have it tied down that it isn't rubbed thru.,if you don't see it there disconnect your lights pull it out and check. Alot of wiring harnesses are geting rubbed thru under motor(shorts) I hope I helped. :twisted: :twisted:
