Viper Opinions

Bought a 2014 ltx se! It's got all the updates, magnaforce weights and studded!

I'm more concerned about set up, and want to install an exhaust and modify the intake. Will I need a fuel controller to do so?

What are the best mods to get this thing to ride good?! I'm pumped!

So far I've heard get the evol Chambers for the front fox three shocks and get the rear dual rate spring from cat for the center shock.

What else?

Revalve rear shocks.

Have a phone number? Or maybe pm it?

Been trying to figure out how to message you since I bought it

You won't be sorry. You can adjust that suspension up, down, sideways, inside out...until those rear shocks are revalved properly you'll be chasing something that doesn't exist. I messed with my suspension for nearly 2000 miles and was never truely pleased until I spent $160 and go my rear shocks revalved it it was like a flip of the switch, night and day difference. And I absolutely love the ride now and have ever since then.

I came to the viper from a mach z 1000 (one that actually ran!). I was nervous about going to a sled that was 20% heavier with the same power (I'm turbo'd) but honestly for trail riding I never feel the weight. I'm probably not as fast on the viper yet after my first season as I was on the Z which I rode for 6 years BUT I also don't worry about WOT for more than 10 seconds and I don't worry about making sure I have $10 a quart synthetic oil at the ready, powervalve cleaning every 1000 miles, or fouled $7 plugs on the first day over 25 degrees either.

I loved the Z but all of my fears going 4 stroke have been for nothing.
