I might try it. I only ride the Viper a few hundred miles a year anymore. It's mostly the wife's.

Must have looked over that! Sorry. It's mostly a problem going into a turn hard.. or in those quick S turns. Can't tell if there's too much weight transferred to the front...or not enough. Ideally i'd like to be able to gas it around turns and slide a bit or at least keep it flat. You didn't get back to me..does it do this going into a turn hard or does it happen after you let go of the brakes
Maybe this helps: Rode an SRX for a long time and it just handles the corners so well. There is just so much control around tight turns. To get that kind of control on the viper is the ultimate goal.

You can get close but the nice ride and being so high not going to happen. Now if you ride with the Srx that's a different story. On most trails you will beat them especially coming out of corners and after 150mi or so srx guy will beg you to swap sleds!Must have looked over that! Sorry. You'd be surprised how deceiving the Viper handling is. I'm about as big of a SRX nut as there is. I still have 6 in my shop right now and I've owned so many I couldn't even guess. When I first got my Viper I went out by myself to take it easy and get used to the sled before I went out with all my psychotic buddies. My first thought was that it sure doesn't handle like my SRX. But then I went out with my buddies and we did one of our normal routes that always seemed like a hellride in the past. I was thinking to myself why are these guys going so slow? Then I realized, we weren't going any slower than normal, I was just working a lot less to go the same speed. Now that I've gotten used to the sled and made a few changes its that much more than my srx ever was

Shh! I had same thing happen! But the SRX was all stock. Never ran one on smooth tight twisties with Ice or hardpack so not going to say I could run against a well setup one there. I do know a Rev would not keep up to my SRX with long travel coming into Christmas,MI at about 6pm. He could not believe it. What I didn't tell him was that if I slowed down SRX would buck like a mule. Just had to keep her over 50 or so to stay on top of the trail junk till you hit a really big one! Good times though. 100mph + anytime or anywhere safe easy. Not happening on Viper unless Turbo. You'd be surprised how deceiving the Viper handling is. I'm about as big of a SRX nut as there is.
