- 2009 Nytro XTX
I have a 2009 Nytro XTX with the exploded stator cover I posted about earlier, thanks TY very much for the good comments.
I have purchased a 2016 bare Viper engine that only has 1800 miles on it. Looks great very clean from Al’s Snowmobile in VT whom I’ve been a customer of for 30 years.
My question is the oil pressure sensor difference. The Viper engine has two sensor connectors where the Nytro only has a single oil pressure sensor. The Nytro harness fits the large Viper oil pressure sensor. The additional sensor has a flat-4 wire connector, can I ignore that connector based on the Nytro harness & computer?
Thanks for considering my question and for any comments very much.

Is that a knock sensor on the viper? If so yup leave it unplugged, not sure why they would have two oil pressure senders.

Yep...just ignore that second sensor and you will be fine.

I did that swap to one of my Nytro’s and I put a real pressure gauge on the second one
