Ok I found a 2015 viper priced at$8999 450 miles color I like etc.
But,,,,,it is a 153 Mtx. Can I change to a 137 141 for trail riding or is there a lot to change? If I can what all do I need to do

I'm pretty sure the mtx models will also have a narrow front end which isn't ideal for trail riding. Even if you leave front end alone, til you buy a track and skid and do the swap I think you are better off just finding a short track model to start. Where are you located?

I've got a 141 and it's no problem trail riding we just bought a 153 and plan to ride it in Michigan . don't do anything till you ride it. I have a xtx 141 with 1200 miles that i'll swap you rails and track for 153 and I am in Illinois also

Ideally you would want to switch out the track, rails, gears, and drivers if your trying to make that MTX into a trail XTX. Your tunnel will be longer but look fine, thats how the XTX LE came. I might be able to help you out with everything from a 2015 XTX SE with a 1.6 lug track. What color are the rails and A-arms?
