Viper update

Did dale say anything about a 162hp kit for the viper been hearing some rumors about it.

Right clutching is the cheapest fastest way to get some more speed out of it. But when it comes down to the hp numbers that don't lie. And the Viper is down on that. I really hope they hold up against 800's until like 60-70 mph. That's what my stock Nytro would do. Then they would slowly pull away. I just didn't want to mess with all the mods again so just went straight for boost. And clutch. So hopefully I shouldn't have to worry about many 800's. But racing across a lake and having that nice mid range to get you through the corner is what I'm looking for! And want to lift the front end over bumps anytime I want. Lake racing is fun, but not my main goal. Anything over a 100mph is fast enough in the trails it's just how fast you get there. And I go to WY every year so I wanted the power there too.

How responsive is the genesis engine with a turbo mounted on? Basically wondering about turbo lag? Drove a 250hp 1100 turbo last year and honestly did not like it at all on the trail as turbo lag made it hard to ride with any rhythm in the rough stuff.
If it was tuned properly you should have no turbo lag, mine had minor lag stock but after the tune it is now completely gone and really fun to drive, but there are so many versions of tunes out there, some are really good and some are not so good,so you can have 250 hp w/no lag to speak of.
