anybody have ridden it in the trail? how does it compare to the stock XTX with 1.6"?
We have one of each, the SE 1.6 does great on the trail throws up lots of snow to keep the slides lubed. The LE with the 2.25 is fair but you just need to be a bit more mindful, it wont kick up hardly no snow on the hard packed trail make sure you have the sctrachers down, this track like the powder better Just depends on where and how you ride.
Really torn between ordering a mtx 153 SE or the xtx le dont ride alot of mountains. More tree riding and some trail. How much worse is the mtx during trail transports? On the other hand i will put the 38" front on the xtx before it leaves the dealer and the mtx already has it. Damn hard to decide. Would be helpful from some input who has ridden both.![]()
i'm riding in gaspesie, Quebec.
We have some nice trail and groomed. I'm riding my backcountry nytro xtx without any scratcher except for 1-2 times a year if we get some rain. But this happen 1 winter on 3-4. So i don't worry about the heating.
The question is more do you see any difference in trail riding quality and stability?
in the powder, does it really change the thing over the 1.6?
I can't tell, do they really suck in powder or was that sarcasm?the LE has a larger lug track, mountain seat, mountain risers and forward style steering post. mountain skis (they suck in powder) and it ONLY comes in that badass looking blue and orange
