Voltage with Eng Running Issue SOLVED

Thanks, I know were TY threads about that subject (BMS). I'll have to search and re-read. IF there is a BMS cutout, then possibly right after the sled starts, the Li battery might (probably) is getting more than is ideal? Whatever is happening, it seems to work because there are many sleds out there with Li batteries and stock voltage regulators (made for conventional AGM/flooded cell) batteries.

During the starting phase, and presuming the BMS is in bypass mode, it still should not allow the battery to *charge* until it gets up to operating temperature anyhow. The primary job of the BMS bypass during cold weather is to allow enough discharge to warm the battery. That is why the battery companies will tell you to cycle the battery a few times before starting, that is to warm the battery up. Under any kind of load the battery is going to be in the operating range unless conditions are extreme (like > -40f).
