Is VP sled 96 safe on a Turbo Dynamic’s 290 flash? I can’t get much for octane boosters.

If you’re just after octane boosters, you can order directly from Torco’s website. I ran 25% VP C16 with 93 last year and on re-fills during trips 8-16 oz of Torco Accelerator. ~600 miles. Plugs looked perfect when I changed them this year. TD MS 17 most days. That’s the 290 tune.

Last season was fine, I have not tested for leaks as of yet. Just seen some sled 96 locally for sale and wondered about it.

I would take some tip weight out and spin it a little higher... 9100-9150. That will usually help with knock. Or find that 96 octane or T4 and splash a few gallons in each tank.

Running dtay2 empty so would have to get different weights or go back to 8jp belt. Running xs825 now just pulled all weight from dtay2’s last night tried a couple pulls and 2 out of 5 flashed.

Suppose you don't have an AFR gauge on it.... I eventually tracked my issue down to a bad knock sensor....but i was getting it 60' out.

I do but never noticed what it was reading when it happens. Will check tomorrow as I hope to go to the lake.
