I was reading a Vector -VS- Rage topic and "LOW SLUNG" was saying that it's not a question of will the W-arm break but more like when. I bought a 2005 andRage put 2400 miles on it without any problems so far. I'm just wondering how many people out there feel like "LOW SLUNG" and why. I have read about some problems with the RX-1 but this was the first time I've read about any potential problems with my Rage suspension

If you reinforce it, you should never have a problem with it again. Do not just replace the broken one with a oem replacement and expect it to hold up. Check out LeeKo's w-arm in the post linked below to see where you can add gussets. If you take your w-arm and a printed out picture of a w-arm with gussets added, any fab or weld shop should be able to fix yours up so it will never break again.

BTW....adding bigger or more gussets will not hurt anything.

I've read just about every post on suspensions and have been doing a fair bit of research into the failures with the old pro-action and especially the mono-shock suspensions.

So far I haven't heard of a w-arm breaking on a Vector or Rage.

Low Slung might be assuming the Vector and Rage suspension is the same as the old pro-action. It isn't.
