want more top end

No greed it had problems from new. On the first TY ride with 150 miles on it and the boost a 4#'s it dropped cylinders. did that at least 5 times till at about 840 miles it notched the block between 2 cylinders. Burnt the pistons, hurt 4 valves. Even when that happened the AFR that I added after it was dropping cylinders was still reading 10.5 at WOT. I was running 91 non oxy gas all the time from reputable stations here in Minneapolis. And I am not the only guy that blew one at 6#'s of boost.

When I rebuilt I had it put back together with the proper pistons and rods to handle the increases that I have now made.
Your story makes no sense two guys you know personally and now you're talking like it's your sled should have been a warranty issue if it was that new

It was a warranty issue that they would not stand behind (the dealer) it was a bad head gasket that finally failed. Adding the turbo does not void the warranty. The other guys got rebuilt under warranty because Hauck was riding it when it blew. I stopped riding mine after the first episode and called both Matt at MPI and Hauck who installed it and they both said not to worry it was electrical.

By the looks of the pictures that ulmer posted of all the messed up stuff from the original install I'm not surprised it had so many issues...

yeah but the failed header, cracked heat shield, broken waste gate mount were not a result of the install. And at the time Hauck was the only authorized dealer in the whole upper mid-west. I placed the order at the same time I ordered my sled. I was on the list in early october 2013. When the first 6 kits were shipped there were no instructions for them yet.

As far as all the other issues I think mine was built on Friday at 4:45 pm.

We have gotten way off topic on this! all of this has been hashed through before. It is now a monster and I am happy. It was my fault for buying an XTX and not an LTX as far as the handling goes in its stock suspension form it is not a trail burner but I am changing that now with the shock and rear coupler package and as far as the turbo goes I am just plain stoked to ride a 250 hp sled again which is a much better platform than the 03 RX-1 with the bender rear mount. You don't have to be a chemist and constantly remove the carbs for jetting based on elevation, fuel octane and temperature.
