I got mine in, but the wire that powers the switch must be on the wrong wire as the winch only works in neutral and park. I'd like to make the connection/ splice under the seat if possible. Help!

I tied mine in to the 12v power outlet beside the ignition switch. worked great.

I finally tore off the front rack and the hood, and wired mine into the ignition switch. I was looking for an easier way, that's all.
