I see a lot of sled pics and guys still have the big ugly warning stickers on the back of the console, as well as the smaller ones on the tunnel etc.

Curious how many remove them?

That's one of the first things I do with new equipment is remove the crappy stickers then go through and polish/wax the machine. Looks much cleaner that way.

I removed mine, even before my wrap was on. Now I have a wrap and for sure covers that area.

10 minutes after I got mine home the heat gun was out and the stupid warning stickers were gone.

Took them all off the same day I got it home , even took off the stickers off the side panels .

Yep GONE.

I have noticed most 'detailed' sleds they are gone!

Lawyer stickers to cut down liability.

Personally I like them. I would agree most look better with some stickers removed. Resale value is noticeably higher when I don't remove them. I had two identical summit xp 800r one was mine with no stickers all black and one was my gf"s with all of her stickers and decals. When selling the sleds both with the same mileage and not saying this was my girls sled or not. We always got the comment on the sled (with all stickers) looked like it was better taken care of and not like some punk owned it. It sold for $500 more and was first to go. The other one got the attention of the teens who had less to spend and always low balled us. Selling a sled for $5000 and be offered 3, didn't get that on the other sled. I drove both of them all the time, and they were in identical shape, save the stickers.
The fact of the matter is, it looks like some one wouldn't abuse a sled if he left it with all of its stickers. My 2c

That has to be some sort of magic trick saving those stickers. Or do you just buy new?

Pretty much all of my major equipment gets the stickers removed right way than a good clean and wax. Garden tractors get the seat switch and RIO "fixed" as well.

I used to 'fix' my tractors like that.

THEN after loving my bypass seat switch on my loader garden tractor I did the same to my Mower tractor -- smart guy I thought I was. Only to find myself distracted picking up sticks climbing back on the tractor for the umpteenth time I notice something pull on the top of my shoe-- yep I had stepped so close to the running 60 inch mower deck that my foot was under the blades. No injury to me just the top of my shoe. I reengaged the pain in the but inconvienient seat safety switch. Some of you know I am a Doc and one of my area's of 'expertice' is Amputations..........boy that was close

Just like I was taught you never leave the seat with the PTO engaged. Set the park brake and idle down as well. If someone approaches the discharge chute while PTO is engaged it gets shut down. Mowing roadside with discharge to road if a car comes stop or shut off PTO or both. I taught my daughter this way and will do same with Grandsons. People shouldn't have to rely on auto pilot to keep them safe they should know what it takes to be safe and have it engrained in their brains at an early age.

I know and agree with all of that.... And it works most of the time.....but not always. I hooked up the seat switch on the mower, dumb I guess.

I like the stickers it gives me something to read while I wait for others to catch up

On the mower thing I leave the park brake interlock connected. I never exit the machine without setting the park brake so the mower does not stay running.
