Warranty repairs: potential cost?

What I don’t understand is why are you guysNOT /dealers getting the entire shaft with the drivers installed onto it? I was under the impression they come as one assembly WITH DRIVERS installed. I was told that’s how mine came and was replaced under warranty. NO CHARGE. USA that was.
They must of run out of the complete package.
Also before I asked the dealer to try to claim it on warranty , they were going to order the complete package as it would cost more in labor to put the old ones on , and it has !!!!
They must think I have more money than Yamaha !

You need a better dealer IMO.

Mine will either get me parts I need if I want to do the work.... i just drop off old parts, OR they do the entire job including labor. YES includes labor and if I recall there is ZERO deductible, unlike BRP(after 1st year) where you pay the first $50.

That’s what I call warranty!
Why so many new parts like caliper, brake pads and chaincase bearing. Damage?

I got 2 under warranty. Complete shafts with seal flange on brake side w seal, both bearings, chaincase oil, even new seal for chain case. Cost $0

Was the damage that bad that it warranted all of those parts because it went on too long, or dealer was just changing all out just to make sure?

Sounds exceptional!
P.S. I've bought ALLOT of stuff from him for many years so he has a very vested interest in keeping me happy. ATVs, sleds, trailers. He wants me to keep coming back to leave more of my money there! LOL

Dealer claimed the caliper held to much heat and it ruins the seals. He said he wouldn’t replace the seals because it’s not worth the effort. Better to replace caliper. Sounded fine to me!

Update:

Yamaha and the dealer came through 100%. Took a month and a half, but considering I’m not even close to sled country since I’m guessing the ‘70s....I pretty much expected that. I didn’t buy the sled there, so I’m impressed they’d take it in at all.

I expected to at least get hit for something.....but $zero.

All that said, I’ll still go back through it like many of the TY guys here.
