The warranty for Yamaha is one year. I believe the YES coverage is worth it. They do extend your warranty if you purchase your sled early in the season. They extend it untill November 30th.

I have always bought the Y. E. S. on my new sleds, Yamaha gives you a year from date of purchase to choose this option. Most dealers here in the states have been selling the additional 4 years for around $500.00. Not bad for 4 years of additional warranty. Most people don't realize that this additional warranty is refundable/prorated, I just received a check in refund for the unused portion of the Y.E.S. on my 04 Warrior that was traded in on my new APEX. Living so far away from my riding area and leaving my sleds up North this allows for a piece of mind when traveling so far to ride!
