I have a squealing noise at idle and a slight drip on the clutch side of my 05 rx1. My guess is the waterpump. I see there is no belt but it is shaft driven. Given that would it be squealing?

Its shaft driven no belt and does it squeal when you pull the main belt off? Usually when the water pump fails it overheats.

I'm also thinking the squeal is the drive belt too tight at stand still. Its shaft driven no belt and does it squeal when you pull the main belt off? Usually when the water pump fails it overheats.
